How to Know if You Need a Free Hearing Screening Test
Hearing starts to deteriorate after you turn 50 years of age. It may seem not that noticeable at first. By the time people are 60 and over, hearing loss becomes more common. Here are a few situations thay may indicate you need a free hearing check up.
- You may hear people when they speak to you, but some of the words are unclear. It may sound to you like people are mumbling or not pronouncing words properly. You may find yourself asking people to repeat themselves, or you are saying ‘What?’ or ‘Huh?’ more often.
- You may notice listening to someone on a mobile phone may have become more difficult for you.
- In social group situations you may find the background noise and other conversations get in the way of you hearing someone speak.
